DIRECTOR - PHOTOGRAPHER

ARAMAN is an award-winning director and advertising photographer in Dubai, specializing in luxury photography, jewellery photography, beauty photography, fashion photography, hair photography and still-life photography. He shares most of his time between Dubai, Cairo, Beirut and New York, but works all across the globe.

A future-forward storyteller, his daringly passionate films and photographs take us on a journey through evolving traditional and digital landscapes.

He graduated from the American University in Cairo with a major in Economics and a minor in Fine Arts, and he later went on to study at the International Centre of Photography and School of Visual Arts in New York.

Over the span of his career, ARAMAN has set the benchmark for creative photography in the Middle East and has been featured and awarded at the Noorderlicht Festival, the New York Photo Light Festival, the London Fashion Film Festival and the Canadian International Fashion Film Festival. In addition, he has won 12 creative awards from the UK, US, Canada and Australia, including winning at the highly prestigious IPA (International Photography Awards) and Lucie Awards.

Not only is he considered one of the best photographers in Dubai, and across the Middle East in general, but he is also the founder and owner of ASTUDIO, an award-winning 360 degree digital, creative and production agency. Some of their clients include Piaget, Bulgari, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Swarovski, Cartier, and L’Oréal Paris, to name but a few.

ARAMAN’s unique understanding of both commerce and art, enable a modern design thinking mentality. Trained as a painter, he views the screen like a blank canvas – a space of unlimited potential. Through the mastery of his distinct visual style, he searches for details that make the frame unique; for an invisible string, that connects all the elements together. His broader skills in business, technology and new innovations allow him to solve problems, share experiences, and build relationships of trust.
